I’m back with another Papergang review, this time for the month of November. My review of the September box is linked here if you are interested in reading it.
Papergang is a monthly subscription box of stationery and desk accessories designed in collaboration with different illustrators and artists from around the globe.
I only had the 3-month subscription for September, October, and November. Each box costs £10.95 per month (not including shipping) and you receive 10% off the Ohh Deer brand all of the time which I mentioned in the previous post which I haven’t yet used.
I think you can get deals with the boxes if you sign up for a long period of time but you can cancel at any point in your subscription which I like as it’s flexible.
This box was very Christmassy themed which I loved! It was created by artist Mei Støyva and included fun characters, lots of colour and a festive feel to it.
- 3 Christmas Cards
- A postcard
- Some washi tape
- Two sheets of Christmas wrapping paper
- A wish list sheet
- Some labels for gift wrapping
- A list pad
The November box was significantly smaller in size in comparison to the September and October box which is great for a reduction on packaging as everything fitted nicely inside the box.
I was a little disappointed in the fact there was no ‘real’ stationary in the box, it was mainly designed with giving the things away for Christmas in mind. Which is great but when I buy stationery, I am usually looking for something that will increase my productivity. I will definitely use the Christmas cards, gift wrap, and labels and of course the washi tape too. There was the list pad which I liked as well but for the price, I would have much-prefered something different.
Is it worth it?
For the price, you definitely get your money’s worth, however, with all three boxes, I have found that I am not using everything I’m receiving. I think it’s ideal for those with spare income that want something extra but I wouldn’t rely on it to provide your key stationery for the month.
It’s a super fun concept and it is really excited to receive in the post each month but I don’t think it will be something I have regularly.
